Through our rigorous recruitment procedures which involve a thorough face-to-face interview, Police checks, medical screening/ declarations and references from previous employers, we are able to recruit only the best people; with a potential to share our principles and values.

 

Requirements for Registration

In order to apply for nursing/domiciary care jobs, we require candidates who are able to communicate clearly in English; both spoken and in writing. They must also be able to work flexible hours and available on short notice, at times.In addition all our new employees are inducted to NHP`s key company policies, procedures and business ethoes before they start work with us. We also ask to see evidence of the following documents and obtain necessary commitments and paperwork, on or before the day of interview;

  •  

    A valid passport or original Birth Certificate - in the case of British citizens.

  •  

    2 clear recent passport size photos.

  •  

    A valid UK bank account

  •  

    Proof of residence. We require 2 official documents, showing the candidate`s name and address in the UK.

  •  

    NI card/Letter proving your NI number

  •  

    Valid proof of immunisation against Hepatitis B, Chicken pox, Rubella, Diptheria, Tetanus,

  •  

    Polio and TB

  •  

    Two recent traceable professional and/or academic references

  •  

    Commitment to undergo through an enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check via NHP. There is a charge of £60 for DBS processing; payable in advance and prior to attending the interview.

In the case of registered nurses we also require, over and above the requirements listed above; an NMC statement of entry, your PIN and professional indemnity cover.
